Samsung Washing Machine: Washer powered off mid cycle and will not turn on, door is locked.

WF45B6300AC/US

My Samsung washing machine stopped and powered off mid cycle I think. It will not turn on. The door will not open. It is 1.5 years old. The year warranty ended in January.

Things I've tried:

- Checking the breaker, resetting it (off and back on).

- Testing the breaker itself to make sure it trips properly.

- Turning the breaker/power off for 10+ minutes then back on.

Note: The washer is on its own breaker and nothing else is plugged into the same outlet.

- Plugged something else into the outlet to confirm that it does indeed have power.

- Drained the liquid inside and cleaned the filter

I have removed the top panel and briefly examined the main PCB and other visible connections to see if anything was obviously loose. I have not removed the front panel.

I'm also not sure how to manually unlock the door, as I see no obvious tab to pull.

I have a multimeter, but have barely used it in the past, but with some help, I can check for continuity or for power somewhere if someone can suggest a place.

Im not quite aure where a fuse would be located on the PCB or washer in general, but maybe that is something to check?

Do you have any suggestions of things to try?

Samsung Washing Machine: Why my washer machine won't power up ( 9 out of 10x)?

My Samsung washing won’t power up, but if I keep continually playing with the press ON button every 5 minutes: 1 in 15x the screen display would be ON for few seconds. And if i am fast enough before the display disappear, to starting my program, then everything seems fine. The cycle runs fine to the end, no problem. The display looks fine, everything seems fine, no errors. As long as if I am fast enough before the display disappear.

What seems the problems with the power up? And how could i repair that?

Update (10/09/2018)

Is there any other possible explanation beside the wire loose? The washing machine works in every ways except powering up . Once it power up, it starts fine with program cycle to the end, OK, no disruption nor error.

Which part of the control board am i focusing? Isn’t sound more like the on and off button has problem, every time when i press on/off button, every time there is a sound “click” but then it turns itself off, and sometime it displays the screen for a few seconds before turn off by itself.

This goes on for about a minute maybe then stops. No error codes time still showing but not counting down. Tub never moves during any of this time.
Samsung Washing Machine: samsung pump wiring problem

model number WA85N6750B. purchased new. My pump has 2 yellow wires going to the pump following wires up I can get to a connection where 1 yellow wire changes to black. Which wire is active? on the pump connectors there are no markings for active and neutral, which terminal is active?

Update (08/05/23)

thank you that's a big help. Usually wires are brown and blue, I think this pump was replaced before we bought our washer looking at the amount of black electrical tape placed over the wires in places. Do you know the active terminal on the pump or doesn't it matter which terminal you connect the wires to? terminals are not marked.

Samsung Washing Machine: Washing machine stops mid-cycle, resumes after some time

Hello everyone, I've been experiencing this strange issue with my Samsung washing machine. Here's a summary. Whenever I start it, everything seems fine, the water is being pumped in and out, the drum spins in both directions and spin cycle works well. But, after some time, it just cuts off. It just stops emitting any signs of life. Unplugging it and plugging it back in doesn't do the trick either and it seems like an electrical fault. But after some time, usually half an hour to an hour, it just randomly springs back to life and continues where it left off and everything seems perfect again. Any idea on what could be the cause of this behavior? I doubt the lid switch or water inlet valve are causing this because those problems would persist even when the washer is working.

Even over fill. I even have leaks due to water level. I have to power off the machine and force the spinning cycle for the water to drain.

When i go into forced spin cycle, the water drains easily but the cycle seems stuck. I have to stop the machine, shut down, power on again and go into the forced spin cycle again, for it to work and complete.

Samsung Washing Machine: Samsung WF520ABP/XAA — part number for water level sensor hose

Following Samsung WF520ABP/XAA — ordered wrong main PCB for repair, I was able to get the washer powered on… only to get a Water Level Sensor Error about 10 seconds later.

I’ve tried replacing the sensor, but the error persists. Working with a local Samsung technician, the next recommendation is to try replacing the hose connecting the water level sensor to the tub. I was able to determine that part #4 on this diagram is the sensor, but there’s no reference to the connection hose, or any indication which part number I’d need to order to replace the hose.

Is there a way to determine which part number is the connection hose?

Thanks in advance.

Samsung WF361BVBEWR Washing Machine: Why is my machine leaking when the washer is filling?

My washer is leaking water when it fills at the beginning of the cycle and when it fills to rinse. It’s a steady stream of water when this happens. It’s leaking on the front, middle, underside of the machine. I’ve drained the emergency drain and it’s plugged correctly. I get a lot out of there, I try to drain that every few days. But tonight I was able to see the leak in action, and I was consistent with filling, not draining. Any suggestions??

Samsung Washing Machine: No power. Stopped mid-cycle with clothes washing.

Hello!

While I wait seemingly forever for Samsung techs to contact me to schedule a service call, I’m hoping for some guidance in the very least to get the wet clothes out of my drum.

I have a:

Bespoke 5.3-cu ft High Efficiency Stackable WF53BB8700ATUS

Steam Cycle Smart Front-Load Washer (Silver

Steel) ENERGY STAR

Purchased in July 2023.

I was washing clothes when I got an alert from my SmartThings app which said: “check water draining system.”

It became unresponsive after that, it was still lit up and “alive” but wouldn’t do anything, even through the SmartThings app.

Suddenly all power to it went out. To note, I have this stacked, with the dryer on top. I’m not able to move it on my own to get into anything on the top panel of the washing machine.

The dryer still has full power and is fully working - I have only one plug for both devices.

I’ve unplugged it and waited 30 min before plugging in, nothing.

I’ve flipped the circuit board, nothing,

I drained ALL of the water and cleared out the filter which was pretty clean to begin with.

Is there anything else I can do? I just want to get this door opened.
