Epson Artisan 1430: Did I really work it to death?

Greetings, i purchased one of the above devices earlier this month & managed to produce 2 sets of books (148pgs. 18x12) out of it before it collapsed. Word has it the ink pads have flooded.

Anyway, the ink cartridge carrier's stuck all the way to the right, won't budge, thus it's denying me access to remove my cartridges so that I can exchange it. The (ink) cartridges are part of a CIS system, dig me?

I've been looking for a parts manual, so as to disassemble it, but, none yet to be found.

HP Printer: SMD resister blew out in my HP 0957 2271 AC Adapter

Want to replace but can't identify it. I don't know if anyone could help me with this but I got to try anyway.

I have a transformer the stopped working, it had a fuse that was dead that I already changed and this small smd resister which seemed to pop from the mark it left on the case. I want to try to replace the SMD, but I don't know which kind it is since the number is all burned off. so I'm posting this photo showing which one it is in hope of someone being able to tell me which SMD to put there.

Brother Printer: Brother HL-L2380DW will not boot up.

LED display flashes blank white screen for a few seconds then shuts off briefly, cycles like this continually upon plugging into outlet. USB port connected to PC does not show any activity. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I've tried several variations of removing wall power and holding down power button.

Epson ET-2400: NON user-serviceable ET-2400 ink pads, information needed.

I am thinking about buying an ET-2400 (brief Black Friday discount = $179) and I have done my research but the one thing that seems to have almost no information is the waste ink pad situation. From Epson's ET-2400 user guide (see pages 159-160) it tells me that there are 2 different inkpads (one for borderless printing, the other for normal printing). But it also says that these pads are NOT user serviceable components (so there is no Maintenance Box to buy) and that it requires they be replaced by an "authorized Epson service provider".

Any idea roughly how often these pads need replacing?
Any idea what it costs to have it done the official Epson way?
Any tutorials on DIY that is written specifically for the ET-2400 (for either or both types of ink pads) ??

Any help with any of these questions is appreciated.

HP laser 1012 printing fine then suddenly printing blank pages. Using Ubuntu 16.04LTS, Wind8.1, FF. Partitioned 475GB. Printer works but no ink on paper. Print preview shows what to print, does not print test page. Replaced toner cartage, still nothing. Excellent printer, meets the need perfectly. Using Linux HPLIP3.16.11.

What could be the problem and the fix?

EPSON printer WF-3640 touch screen is unreponsive & won't power down... I've tried holding down the power button, as well as power + STOP button, and cannot turn it off. Right before this happened, I had cleaned the print heads to fix printing issues.

Printer: Can a broken tray that holds the color cartage be repaired?

My friend tried to stuff a black cartage into the color cartage slot and when we took it out a piece broke off. Now it won’t hold a new color cartage. Can the tray and brackets that hold the cartage be replaced?

Epson Stylus NX415: How do I bypass this general error?

I was just gifted an Epson Stylus NX415 hoping to use it at least as a scanner but when I power it on I get this error on the LCD display:

Error:

A printer error has occurred. Turn off the printer, then press On button to turn on. See your documentation.

I've checked the user guide and can't even find this status message listed in the documentation. When I try to power cycle the printer I get the same error. I've tried booting it with and without paper loaded.

When I have the OSX System Preferences panel open it lists the printer as on but idle:

And within the printer utility I get "General error," which is likely one of the least helpful error ever. Ha!

Is it a firmware issue? If so, does anyone know how to reset the printer to factory settings?
