Hola.

Tengo un Kindle Paperwhite 5 generación, del año 2014.

Lo tengo con funda original y el otro dia al abrir la funda no me arranco. Estaba con el salvapantallas todo el rato.

He probado todo lo escrito con los resets, soft y hard. He mantenido pulsado el botón el tiempo que indican los tecnicos: 20-30-40-50-60 segundos (he ido probando varios tiempos) y nada.

Sin estar conectado el cargador no se enciende ningun led. Al conectar cargador se enciende led naranja y asi se queda siempre. Lo he tenido toda la noche oara ver si se ponía verde y nada. Si suelto cable cargador, se apaga led.

He comprado otra batería de la misma referencia y hace lo mismo.

Y se me olvidaba decir :

1- que estando con el cargador conectado y apretando el boton de power, a los 11-12 segundos el led naranja se apaga y la pantalla sigue igual. Al soltar boton de power, vuelve a encenderse el led naranja.

2- que al conectar el KP al ordenador por USB, no me lo reconoce

Tambien he comprobado que la bateria esta cargada midiendo con un tester digital en los bordes p+ y p- .

¿Alguien me podria dar alguna idea de que podria ser el fallo?

Hola mi kindle paperwhite 10 gen se descargo completo y ahora no carga prende o reinicia, he probado todo. No prende niuna luz cuando lo enchufo y lo he dejado dias cargando.

no accepta reinicio forzoso no da niuna señal de vida

Kindle Paperwhite: Pantalla bloqueada, no carga y se sobrecalienta batería

Buenos días. Mi kindle no carga y tiene la pantalla bloqueada con la imagen de la batería y el mensaje de que debe cargarse. Al enchufarlo se enciende la luz naranja pero se apaga a los 5 segundos y la zona de la batería está muy caliente. En amazon no me dan solución y solo tiene dos años.

¿Alguien puede ayudarme?

Si no me equivoco la pantalla de este modelo de Kindle se compone de pantalla y digitalizador táctil (o algo así).

La pantalla es relativamente fácil de encontrar, pero ¿Dónde podría comprar el digitalizador?

Hola!

Tengo una Kindle 4 y me compré una de nueva generación. Las estuve usando las dos simultáneamente, pero a la semana me empezó a fallar hasta al final no encender. Llamé a Amazon y me dicen que está dada de baja, cosa que no entiendo porque yo no la di de baja y se funcionaron las dos una semana.

La cuestión es que ahora solo carga pero enciende. ¿ alguna solución?

Hi, my Kindle Paperwhite suddenly stopped turning on after a full charge.

I tried resetting it (long-press power for 10, 20, 40, even up to 80 seconds) but it doesn't work.

I tried removing the battery and leaving it overnight and re-inserting. Doesn't work.

Here's the weird thing - the battery seems fine (doesn't drain overnight at 3.8V), but when it's in the device it seems to be draining quickly. The kindle isn't charging it fully even though I've left it for nearly 2 days.

When I keep the power button pressed for around 10 seconds, this happens:

I’m having trouble with my Kindle sometimes when I turn the page. The problem is that when I try to turn the page, the page won’t change, and I’ll try again a few times and it will either take a few minutes just to simply turn the page, or it will freeze completely and I’ll have to refresh my Kindle in the middle of my reading. Is there any way to fix this, or is my Kindle just slow?

My kindle had been having memory problems so I cleared a lot of docs. Then it seems to have gotten caught in a cycle of constantly restarting (and not cleanly, too boot).

If it can't be fixed, how would I get my docs ouot of its memory?

When it’s plugged in (with orange light on) overnight, it still stays on this screen. It does not respond to the power button being held down > i see green and orange blinking light and a screen flash, but it returns to the same screen (battery with ! Inside)

Normally when I open the case my Paperwhite automatically switches on but not today!! I've also tried pressing the on button at the bottom but still to no avail :-( it looks like it's frozen and I don't know how to rectify it. Any help much appreciated.

Hi!

I have a Kindle Paperwhite, 6" High Resolution Display (300 ppi) with Built-in Light, Wi-Fi - bought in October 2015.

Kept well, it hasn't fallen down, nothing untoward. Stopped working. The screen had an erratic display for a while, and has now stopped responding.

Can anyone help?

Hello,

I have a paperwhite. Everything was normal until yesterday. I had recharged it on saturday. I used it on saturday and sunday (there should be still pretty much battery). But i couldn't open it on sunday evening. Couldn't restart/hard reset it. I plugged it on my computer. It didn't show up on my computer. Even if battery is dead, i thought i could see it on my computer as a USB stick. I charged it for 10 hours but still battery lamp is orange not green. What is the problem ?

I found my kindle paperwhite frozen after not using to 2 month. Tried to reset / charge but nothing seems to be responding, Not even green / amber charge light when connecting to wall charger.

I have opened it even tried removing battery for few min and test but it still not responding, screen remains on same standby state even after removing battery.

Can any one help me in fixing this as Amazon support is not helpful and device is out of warranty.

Kindle Paperwhite 12th Gen: Magnetic Casing Causing the Unit to Not Stay On

I've followed every step in the Amazon playlist (Outside of opening it up) and nothing is working to get this kindle to turn on and stay on. It will power up for half a second then fall asleep. The battery seems fine from the outside. We did have a magnetic case on it and I'm worried that somehow has messed it up. When I do the hard reset it will even go through the whole boot system (30 seconds plus) but then once it's loaded it turns off. That's why my guess is that it's something to do with the magnetic case. Obviously I removed that but I'm about to open it up and see if there is any visible issues. What exactly should I be looking for?

Hi, I am unable to charge my Kindle paperwhite because the charger will not sit in the power port. I think the connection in the port inside the kindle is broken. How do i repair or get it repaired?
