Nikon Coolpix L26 Camera: Scandisk file nikon 001.dsc won't open

Hello: When I put the scandisk from camera to computer, it wont allow me to open file nikon 001.dsc it asks me do I want to open or save this file. There's a drop down option that says save as, and save open. They both don't work. I would appreciate if someone, could tell me what I'm doing wrong. The pictures I take using the scan disk 16gb or 8gb can't open to see the pictures I took. Thank You

Nikon DSLR: How do I replace the SD card reader on Nikon D5000?

When putting in an SD card, it does not engage and remain in the slot but springs back out. I can see a blue piece of plastic at the bottom of the slot which i cannot remove. it is suspiciously the same colour as an SD card and I suspect a piece has come off and lodged in preventing it from locking in.

Camera repair company say that the blue plastic is something from within the camera but looking at the D5100 stripdown page, there is no blue plastic in sight. They advise that it needs a new card reader and have quoted close to $200 for the job. I'm sure I am being ripped and would like to know how much to expect for a card reader replacement. I am happy to pay for a repair so if you can recommend anyone in London, England, let me know.

My Nikon D5200 when open, an error appears on the monitor and it says Press shutter release button again.

When you click the shutter botton the mirror inside is not functioning well as in a normal way as in… its running halfway or not in full swing.

I notice it last time that I cover a birthday party I had a low-bat situation so I charge the battery and during the charging it happens there’s a brown out so the power went off then a few seconds the power goes back from a power generator and maybe 15 mins. later the power goes back from the main but still the battery charger was not remove from the outlet after 30 mins of charging maybe 1/4 of the battery was fill I continued to take photos.

I found out that when I click the shutter a time the flash doesn’t function later the mirror comes a halfway and seems dragging then when I check it a notification appears on the screen that I have to Press the shutter button again then it goes back but as time passes later I can’t take any pictures anymore.

When the event ends I went home and fully charge my battery for almost 3 hours then check it with my camera but still the same thing goes. My plan is to send it to the service center but before doing it I rely on this page whether you can fixed it before I do sending it to the service center.

GE Camera: Lens on E850 Refuses to retract when camera is shut off

My E850 8 Megapixel camera when last time used attempted to shut off when power button was depressed. However, Lens structure will not retract and lens cover close over lens. Have taken battery out and put it back into unit. Unit attempts to power up and audible "buzzing" not unlike "Grrrrrrrrrrrrr... Grrrrrrrrrr...". is then heard and will not stop until I remove battery again. What is the issue and is it repairable by myself. Thank You

It may be too late but last afternoon the case cracked and some water got in, I noticed some salt forming from the water evaporating and also noticed it was getting pretty hot. I took out the battery and SD card but the SD card is broken. Now it will not turn on or charge. Again it might be too late but any ideas?

Kodak S100 EF: Why does the scroll not work/scroll?

I have a point and shoot camera of the Kodak model S 100 EF. I haven't used it before, and actually I'm not even sure if it's still working. I just bought new batteries and a film roll, but when I want to scroll the wheel it's totally blocked (in both directions)...

Someone has had the same problem or know what this means..?

Nikon Coolpix S33: Why do I see a black screen when trying to take pictures?

I can see the icons to the left on my Coolpix s33 camera, but it will only show a black screen when I take pictures. I can access the menus and all the options just fine, but shows nothing on the LCD screen but black.

GoPro Hero4 Session: Looking for the internal lens assembly. I have it completely apart.

I smashed the internal lens of my go pro session 4. I have taken it apart and don't know where to purchase the lens assembly. I figured the lens assembly and sensor will need to be purchased together because the lens is glued into the assembly probably for focusing. I was able to get it screwed out but figure there will be no way to refocus it with a new replacement....

Nikon D70: Photos not saved to memory card

When I take a photo, all appears normal, however, the photo is not put on the SD memory card. I have swapped out to numerous cards of various sizes (i.e. 4GB, 16GB, etc) and still no success.
