I have had this Double Power 10.1 Quad Core 1.3 GHz Android 4.4 K DPM1081K tablet: http://bit.ly/1KLLAeW since either January or February, and about a month ago, the charging port started shorting. I would have to fidget with the charger in order to charge it. Now, no matter how much I move the cord around, it won't charge... at all. I started using the usb drive to charge it, and not very long after, THAT started shorting too. Now, neither works. It's about to die, and we paid $100 for this trash just to have it stop charging in 4 or 5 months. Is there a way to fix this problem so that my money doesn't go to waste? Thanks.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014: My screen goes black and won't come back on in sleep mode

My note is only a year old and still like new, but when I press the power button to put it into sleep it doesn't come back on. The buttons light up at the button but the scree stays dark through the lock screen. After a while it shuts of if I hold the power and home button but when it reboots it does it again every time. The screen lights up until I put it in sleep. Any suggestions?

We bought this tablet as an open box tablet (I am guessing maybe refurbished) from a Major store. It had issues freezing when we bought it but we did a system update and that seemed to resolve. This hasn't been dropped, no water damage and only used for less than a month. This morning, we thought the tablet didn't charge as it wouldn't turn on however when plugging it in, the screen flickered (it was the screen that shows when turning it on). I have tried pushing the power and home buttons together but nothing changes. It has been flashing probably 1 time every minute or sometimes even within seconds but will not stay on. Any thoughts?
