Introducción

The flash device has a couple of delicate connections and should be handled with care.

Partes

Remove the 2 screws(2.41mm long) on the side of the camera next to the LCD screen. Remove the 2 screws(4.08mm) on the other side.  One is located under the rubber USB flap. Remove the last screw(2.59mm) located on the bottom of the camera.
  • Remove the 2 screws(2.41mm long) on the side of the camera next to the LCD screen.

  • Remove the 2 screws(4.08mm) on the other side. One is located under the rubber USB flap.

  • Remove the last screw(2.59mm) located on the bottom of the camera.

  • Slowly pull the back cover of the camera.

Remove the screw(2.59mm) from the bottom of the camera. Remove the screw(4.08mm) from the menu button side of the camera. The 2 screws on the other side of the camera were already removed when taking off the back cover.
  • Remove the screw(2.59mm) from the bottom of the camera.

  • Remove the screw(4.08mm) from the menu button side of the camera.

  • The 2 screws on the other side of the camera were already removed when taking off the back cover.

Unplug the green (if color-blind please ask someone for assistance) and white plugs connecting the top panel to  top of the logic board. Dislodge the tab above the lens.
  • Unplug the green (if color-blind please ask someone for assistance) and white plugs connecting the top panel to top of the logic board.

  • Dislodge the tab above the lens.

  • Dislodge the back tab.

Remove the screws(2.88mm) at the top right corner and bottom left corner of the LCD screen. Disconnect the ribbons connecting the screen to the camera. Remove the screen by lifting it off.
  • Remove the screws(2.88mm) at the top right corner and bottom left corner of the LCD screen.

  • Disconnect the ribbons connecting the screen to the camera.

  • Remove the screen by lifting it off.

CAUTION WHEN REMOVING FLASH. BE CAREFUL,THE CAPACITOR MAY STILL HAVE A CHARGE AND COULD SHOCK YOU. Remove 2 screws(1.75mm) from the back with screwdriver, disconnecting the metal guard. On top of camera, unplug the ribbon by pulling on it.
  • CAUTION WHEN REMOVING FLASH. BE CAREFUL,THE CAPACITOR MAY STILL HAVE A CHARGE AND COULD SHOCK YOU.

  • Remove 2 screws(1.75mm) from the back with screwdriver, disconnecting the metal guard.

  • On top of camera, unplug the ribbon by pulling on it.

  • Disconnect the white plug connected by red and black wires by pulling on it.
