Flip laptop and open lid. Separate the keyboard plate from the main housing, using a plastic prying tool. Being careful not to damage the LED indicators or other peripheries. Disconnect the LED, trackpad, and keyboard ribbon cables. The keyboard can now be removed

great help in getting to the keyboard. keyboard removal requires breaking all the securing posts , but quite easy.

just make sure there are no little bits left on assembly. also take your time and gently fold back all earth straps and insulators etc and then fold back after keyboard is fitted. didn't have one but maybe a hot glue gun would be useful to just pin a few things down.??

anyway all works well so thankyou.

with a good prying tool shouldn't break any components, i use steel guitar picks and standard plastic wedge tools to separate the parts, however glad to know this guide helped.
