  • During our Apple TV 4th Generation Teardown, we suspected that power was transmitted to the logic board via the heat sink screw posts. It looks like this is still the case with Apple TV 4K.

  • With the heatsink and posts out of the way, the only thing left to do is remove the power supply board.

Wir treffen hier auf keinerlei Überraschungen, der Kühlkörper ist praktisch der gleiche wie der seines Vorgängers von 2015.

Wir nehmen uns kurz die Zeit, ein uns bekanntes Paar mutmaßlicher Stromstifte aus dem Kühlkörper zu entfernen.

Bei unserem Teardown des Apple TV der 4. Generation gingen wir davon aus, dass der Strom zum Logic Board durch diese Schraubstifte im Kühlkörper geleitet werden würde. Das ist anscheinend im Apple TV 4K immer noch der Fall.

Der Kühlkörper und die Stifte sind erledigt, jetzt bleibt nur noch das Entfernen der Netzteilplatine.
