After painstakingly removing the rear panel from the iPhone 8 intact, we decide to go hard on the heat,  just in case that's the secret sauce. Spoiler alert: it isn't. It looks like Apple's adhesive of choice is pretty impervious to heat. If anything, it softens the metal frame a bit, but it doesn't seem to do much to the glue. This time, we totally broke the panel on purpose, to try out a more realistic situation of removing a broken panel. The verdict: don't drop this phone. Removing a broken panel is much more difficult than getting it out in one piece.

Después de tanto trabajo retirando el panel trasero del iPhone 8 intacto, decidimos ir duro en el calor, por si acaso es la salsa secreta.

Alerta de spoiler: no lo es. Parece que el adhesivo que Apple eligió es bastante impermeable al calor. Si algo, suaviza el marco de metal un poco, pero no parece hacer mucho al pegamento.

Esta vez, rompimos totalmente el panel a propósito, para probar una situación más realista de quitar un panel roto. El veredicto: no deje caer este teléfono. Eliminar un panel roto es mucho más difícil que sacarlo de una sola pieza.

Quizás la próxima vez utilicemos aún más calor.
