[title] Solder new power cables to circuit board
[* black] Purchase a reputable AC Adapter with 24V (exactly) and at least 0.83A. For example, the [link|https://mou.sr/3MVaAXE|Mean Well GE24I24-P1J|new_window=true]. As this is a universal adapter, you will also need to purchase the appropriate Mean Well AC Plug depending on your region.
-[* black] Cut the barrel connector off the end of the AC Adapter.
-[* black] Strip the wires to expose 1cm of copper.
-[* black] Insert the positive wire, marked with dashes, into the VBUS hole and solder it in place.
-[* black] Insert the negative wire, into the GND hole and solder it in place.
+[* black] Using safety glasses and a wire cutter, cut the barrel connector off the end of the new AC Adapter.
+[* black] Using a wire stripper, expose 1cm of copper on the ends of the positive and negative wires.
