[ … ] The only difference between the Matte Finish LCD and Glossy LCD version of the MacBook Pro is the display assembly. The Matte Finish LCD differs from the Glossy LCD in two ways: [ … ] # The aluminum bezel. # The exterior glass of the matte display is optically bonded to the LCD, so you cannot remove the glass with suction cups. (On the bright side, any new matte LCD you purchase comes with the cover glass already bonded!)
