Sony Vaio SVE171C11L RAM Replacement

If you do not have enough RAM in your computer to do all your tasks, you can replace it for a better verison. Use this guide to properly and safe make the replacement.

Qué necesitas

    • Turn the laptop over so its underside is facing upwards and visible.

    • Once you flip the laptop over, make sure the right tab is pushed upwards to unlock it.

    • Use your left hand to push up the left tab to release the battery.

    • After the battery is released, locate the small gap where the battery and the shell meet. Then lift the gap up and rotate the battery up and away from yourself.

    • Pull the battery away.

    • Unscrew the single 3mm screw to remove the RAM panel.

    • Use both hands to unlock the clips that are securing the RAM.

    • The RAM will pop out from the slot when release the clip. After unlocking, slide out the RAM from their slots.

    • When inserting new RAM do not forget the put the clips back on.
