The eyepiece cup is allowing stray light to come into the viewfinder or has become worn and uncomfortable for the operator to use.

    • Orient your camera so that you are looking at the posterior portion.

    • Place each of your thumbs on the interior portions of the eyepiece cup.

    • Using equal pressure, firmly push the eyepiece cup upwards and away from the viewfinder.

    • Be careful not to come into contact with the viewfinder lens as the lens can be easily scratched.
