This part may need to be replaced if the speaker has been physically damaged or if it was exposed to water. When removing the speaker, be careful not to damage the nearby contacts as these are crucial to how the speaker amplifies sound.

    • Begin by using a nylon spudger to pry off the back.

    • Remove case around battery using a T5 screwdriver to remove four 5mm silver screws.

    • Remove two 6mm T5 black screws.

    • Use the tweezers to remove the pink clips on either side of the device and then take the casing off.

    • On the back cover of battery casing, remove the speaker using the tweezers.
