Sanitaire SC684 Roller Brusher and Drive Belt Replacement

Introducción

This guide will show you how to replace the roller brush and driver belt from your Sanitaire SC684 vacuum cleaner. The two components will be removed at about the same time and the process up to disconnecting the belt from the brush is the same.

    • Be sure to unplug the vacuum cleaner before disassembling to prevent electric shock.

    • Lay vacuum on its back

    • Find the bottom metal plate and identify the two latches on either side of the vacuum.

    • Detach the two latches on either side of the vacuum by pulling outwards towards the wheels.

    • Lift off the metal plate by pulling it towards you.

    • Identify the belt and brush roller.

    • The belt is a black circle made of rubber.

    • The brush roller has bristles and is tube shaped.

    • Slide the belt off of the circular knob.

    • Pull brush roller out and detach the belt off the brush roller.
