Disconnect the battery ribbon cable.

Using a flat object, squeeze the battery bracket on the side of the headphone jack out of the bracket. It should be a robust flat object as some force is needed to get the battery out. Using too much force can damage the case.

Carefully pull out the battery ribbon cable together with the battery.

Remove the screw cover on the ribbon cable side (the cover is stuck).

Remove the screw and cover. The cover is wedged in on one side and therefore you need some patience to get the cover out.

The old battery can then be replaced. Pay attention to the type designation of the old and new battery when replacing it.

Repeat the steps in order to reassemble your device.
