Removing Nokia 3100b Screen

Qué necesitas

  1. Removing Nokia 3100b Screen, Battery: paso 1, imagen 1 de 1
    • Make sure your phone is turned off.

    • Press the button on the back of the phone and slide the back panel off.

    • Remove the battery by pulling it from the phone.

    • Gently pull back the small metal frame holding the SIM card into place, and lift open the frame.

    • Retrieve your SIM card.

    • Separate the front cover from the main body of the phone.

    • Set the front cover, as indicated, aside.

    • Remove the screws on the phone in the order of the colors of the rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple) with a Torx T6 screwdriver.

    • Removing the screws in this order prevents any unnecessary torsion on the circuit board. Be sure to remove the screws in the order indicated.

    • Pull the screen assembly from the base of the phone.

    • Set the base of the phone, as indicated, aside.

    • Carefully lift the keypad portion of the screen assembly from the circuit board.

    • Separate the screen from the circuit board.

    • Note the components circled in orange. These will need to be reconnected during reassembly in order for the screen to function.

    • Set the circuit board, as indicated, aside.

    • Remember to reconnect the screen to the circuit board when reassembling!

    • Gently push down on the screen to pop it off of the assembly.

    • When the screen falls out the assembly, two white tabs will fall out with it.

    • When reinstalling the screen, insert the tabs with the slanted side pointing upwards so they slide into the assembly.

Conclusión

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
