    • Completely close the propane tank by turning the valve on the top clockwise. This prevents propane from leaking during the replacement.

    • Breathing in or swallowing propane can harm your health.

    • Turn the knob on the hose counter clockwise to disconnect it from the tank.

    • Find the electric igniter on the grill and turn it counter clockwise to reveal one AA battery.

    • Replace the old battery with a new one.

  3. Propane Grill Regulator & Hose Replacement: paso 3, imagen 1 de 1
    • Locate the orifice that connects the base of the grill and the hose to one another.

    • An orifice is a valve commonly found on gas powered home products. This allows the gas to pass through from the source (i.e the propane tank) and burn properly.

    • Conncected to the orifice should be a nut. Use the crescent wrench to turn the nut counter clockwise and remove the hose from the base.

  4. Propane Grill Regulator & Hose Replacement: paso 4, imagen 1 de 2 Propane Grill Regulator & Hose Replacement: paso 4, imagen 2 de 2
    • Begin hand tightening the new hose to the nut that is connected to the orifice.

    • If you over tighten the bolt or do not hand tighten it first, you could cross thread the orifice and create more problems for the grill.

    • Once it has been adequately hand tightened use the crescent wrench to finish securing it to the orifice.
