Nintendo 64 Controller Joystick Repair

    • Remove the joystick box from the controller.

    • Repeat steps 8 and 9 until no excess epoxy is left.

    • Let the epoxy sit and dry for 30 minutes or until the epoxy is hardened.

    • Reverse these steps to reassemble the controller.

Sadly, it is out of stock too frequently. I’d prefer fixing rather than replacing.

What is the epoxy substance called exactly? I tried searching online but results all come back for JB-Weld coldweld bonding products.

It took me a while too to find what they're using. I'm pretty sure it's Epoxy Putty, it's used to patch and seal holes.

JB-Weld does seem to sell most of what's available to buy, maybe their PlasticWeld one would be most appropriate.
