LG Thrill 4G Phone Buttons Replacement

This guide shows you how to replace the buttons on your LG Thrill 4G.

Turn off your phone before starting.

    • Pry open the back cover by using a fingernail or a plastic opening tool.

    • There is a small notch at the bottom of the cover for easy removal.

    • Remove the battery from the phone.

    • There is a small ledge located at the bottom of the battery for easy removal.

    • Remove the three Philips #00 screws from the bottom of the phone.

    • Two 5.5 mm screws

    • One 4 mm screw

    • Use your finger or opening tool to wedge the speaker out starting at the small notch at the bottom of the phone.

    • Place buttons and covers in a safe spot after removal so none are misplaced. There are three buttons and two covers:

    • Power button

    • Volume button

    • 3D camera button

    • USB cover

    • HDMI cover

    • Place plastic opening tool under the bezel at either the bottom left or bottom right corner of the HDMI cover.

    • This will loosen the both, the HDMI and USB covers enough, so that you may now pull upwards and pop them right off.

    • Place covers in a safe spot after removal.

    • Remove the six screws within the mid-cover bezel.

    • 6 - 5.5mm length PH00 screws
