Introducción

Replacement of the motherboard located inside the Jam Voice will be achieved by dismantling the device. The speaker and battery must be disconnected.

  1. Insert the plastic opening tool underneath the mesh top. Pry the cover open.

    • To reattach the cover, simply align the round posts on the bottom of the cover back into the holes of the Jam Voice.

  2. Remove four 7mm Phillips head screws from the plastic cover.

  3. Remove four 5mm Phillips head screws holding down the speaker in place. Remove two 6mm Phillips head screws holding down the plastic casing.
    • Remove four 5mm Phillips head screws holding down the speaker in place.

    • Remove two 6mm Phillips head screws holding down the plastic casing.

  5. Once all six screws are removed, use a halberd spudger or similar tool to lift up the speaker.

    • Pull the speaker up and out.

  7. After removing all of the screws from the plastic cover, remove it by pulling up and out.

    • Be careful not to yank any of the wires.

  8. Remove the three 5mm Phillips head screws that holg the motherboard in place. Once screws are removed, use two fingers to push motherboard out. Pressing the power and bluetooth buttons on the base of the speaker help.
