Huawei P20 Pro Rear Camera Lens Replacement

Introducción

If the rear camera's glass lens is broken on your Huawei P20 Pro, then you should replace that lens. This repair is simple but requires patience and precision. For the repair you will first have to remove the small pieces of shattered glass, then clean the area and glue the new lens with double-sided tape or simply by making 2 points of glue. The goal is to avoid touching or damaging the camera and avoid scratching it.

Start by placing your phone screen down on a clean, well-lit surface.
Wear safety glasses/goggles to protect your eyes from glass shards. This is very important.

Start removing the tiny shards of glass with straight precision tweezers. Place the shards of glass in a container for safe disposal.
A heat gun or a hair dryer may be helpful for loosening the adhesive on the glass.

Once the area is well cleaned, apply 2 dots of glue (B7000) on each end on the back of the new lens.
If not available, place double-sided adhesive strips in the gaps between the cameras.
Reposition the replacement lens in the broken lens’ original location, being careful not to leave any marks or debris on the inside of the camera area.
