Great article on repairing the vinyl records cover. If the vinyl records are used and handled properly they can preferably resiliant to things that can occur in daily life. Great care should be taken to clean your records using, some liquid stylus cleaner, and making sure that your cartridge tracks properly and has the right settings. A good sturdy shelving unit and proper handling techniques are your best prevention.

Very useful article! We all need to deal with covers that aren't in the best conditions, but is part of having a great collection of second hand vinyls (or fourth hand). Repairing the covers requires time and patience, but when it comes to the turntable maintenance, slip mats are a very good option. Since I use them, my turntable sound better, and it requires less maintenance. I recommend this one https://eclectico.com.au/products/ramone... bcs it was very affordable (only 20 AUD), it works great and I love Ramones!. Additionally, there is a lot of information about how to take care of vinyl records, but I would like to know what kind of liquids you guys use to take care of your vinyls, and where you buy them (on-line if possible, or in Melbourne city)

Thanks in advance! And it's good to know there is a nice community trying to take care of their vinyl records and turntables :)
