Set the temperature switch in the refrigerator to “OFF.”

Remove all items from the freezer, including the freezer shelf.

Use a 6 mm Allen key to remove the two 6.0 mm screws securing the freezer’s interior back cover.

Turn the hairdryer onto its "hot" or "warm" setting, then point it directly into the frozen ventilator’s compartments until the ice melts, clearing the vents.
Be careful not to overheat the surrounding plastic.
