Introducción
This guide is aimed at showing how to properly clean a Danby Room Air Conditioner DAC5209M filter. The constant use of window air-conditioners can attract dirt which can clog up both the filter and the front unit, causing improper airflow and functionality issues. Cleaning your window air conditioner’s entire front unit along with the filter is commonly felt as unnecessary or tedious work, but the difference between a clean front unit vs a dirty one is the quality of the air we are breathing in. An unattended and clogged-up filter and unit can start pushing out dirty air, increasing our chances of becoming sick.
This guide isn’t a fix, rather it’s aimed at providing steps to ensure the health of your window air conditioner. No prior experience or special tools are necessary. Prior to using this guide, it’s important to unplug the A/C unit as water will be used in close proximity.
