What’s the name of the machine for restoring true tone

    Ofosu desmn - Contestar

I once did it successfully using better idea‘s clone boy 2.0 with my iphone8.

the replacement screen needs to have an eeprom installed - not every aftermarket screen has one.

I used an original refurbed iPhone8 display successfully.

When the screen broke again a few months later (I have four kids - they trash everything) I again bought a refurbished iPhone Screen and copied the ID from the previous replacement to the new refurb screen. Somehow this did not made True Tone reappear after installation even though I tried it twice.

Just after glueing anything together I found my first original screen in the recycling box. Maybe it would have worked if I copied directly from it but since everything else works fine (approximation sensor e. g.) I decided to store the first screen away and leave the phone as it is.

You can get the clone boy cheap from AliExpress but I saw some other devices which are able to clone the screen ID too. A quick search on the web should reveal something helpful.

does this remove the non genuine display message??

    Bobby Jr - Contestar

Does this also work on iPhone 8 Plus?

Myles Earvin Uy - Contestar

Does the iPad Pros have the same issue? If so, will this work? I assume it’s just an EDP protocol.

How I can activate true tone on my X's device, actually I replaced the screen before 3 months

Is there any way to do it by mobile to mobile or with any network?

joymore837 - Contestar

I really suggest trying to reach out to the company beforehand. I've been trying to get some help with this device for 2 weeks and they're not responsive. I keep getting an “IIC chip not recognized!” error when trying to use the method without the original screen. Just suggesting to try reaching the company prior to committing. Seems like you'll largely be on your own after purchase.

Nice one, please how do I get the display extended models tools ???

Linkup Technologies - Contestar

I change my display and fix the original display but true tone is missing I updated my phone 15.4.1 but still true tone missing

If any possibility to fix the problem with out reopening my phone any software available

Sreejith Mohan - Contestar

Should work most probably just with screen. Don't get your hopes high for the face id or touch id though. why would you be replacing the module if it can be read by this module? If the belt is broken then this module aint gonna read the data either, just saying.

Where can I buy the multi function programmer to reprogram the TrueTone?

James Bowkett - Contestar

What is a "multi-functional programmer”? How do I get one? This sounds like a tool that should be linked in the Guide.

Calion - Contestar

Anyone had issue when reprogramming original iPhone XS screen damaged somehow touch ic? , touch is unresponsive on my XS but surprisingly it is working fine on iPhone X, I have tried to transfer data with MEGA-IDEA programmer from few different screens but no luck , touch only works on iPhone X but can’t use it on X as frame is different.

Milosz - Contestar

Would true tone be lost if one just changes just the battery and still keeps the original screen? This is what happened when to me, disconnected battery and the true tone is now gone. Thanks
