beautiful instructions. thank you for clear pictures too. i knew it was possible but it was nice to see a step by step.
same never answered question: I need to buy new hooks: they seem to come in size 0-3.. what do I need???
I don’t know either so I’m taking my bra to the sewing store with me. If that is not an option for you, I’ve seen a set of hooks and eyes in 3 sizes. I would order that, use the one that’s the right size, and stash the remainder for another day. They’re not expensive, and cheaper than a new bra.
Also, in this tutorial, it looks like the new hook is slightly bigger than the old one. As long as it fits the old eye, it should work.
Take old hooks to Joann's or whichever craft store is near you. Match up the size. She has no way of knowing what type of bra you have. So the best thing to do is match it with one in the store.
