1. Use a Voltmeter to check if there is a voltage at the power supply’s connection to the circuit board and directly at the power supply. If there is not the correct voltage at the connection to the circuit board but there is directly at the Power Supply, then see “Wire Connection Replacement".

  2. Assuming there were no issues with the wire, take wire strippers and cut the wired connection to the power supply. This will prevent you from having to solder onto the circuit board which can prove difficult due to the space. If you want to use new wires entirely though, you will need to use a soldering iron and remove the connections at the board.

  4. Use the wire strippers to cut off the rubber ends of the power supply wires. If you left the previous wires, you will need to do the same to the end of that. Then use a soldering iron and solder to fuse the connections between the two wires. If the old wires were removed from the circuit board, the new wires will need to be soldered to the board.
