For more information on replacing the expiratory valve, please refer to section 10 of the service manual.

  1. Hamilton G5 Expiratory Valve Replacement, Rail: paso 1, imagen 1 de 1

    • Remove 4 Hex Allen screws (A) from the Rail surrounding the Ventilation Unit.

  2. Hamilton G5 Expiratory Valve Replacement: paso 2, imagen 1 de 1

    • Remove the Rail (B).

  3. Hamilton G5 Expiratory Valve Replacement: paso 3, imagen 1 de 1

    • The Standoff Brackets (C) remain with the Main Cover.

    • Place aside in a safe location.

  5. Hamilton G5 Expiratory Valve Replacement, Main Cover: paso 5, imagen 1 de 1

    • Lift the Main Cover (A) from the Ventilation Unit using the Standoff Brackets (B) attached to the Main Cover.

  7. Hamilton G5 Expiratory Valve Replacement, Expiratory Valve: paso 7, imagen 1 de 1

    • Disconnect 2 cables from the magnet of the Expiratory Valve.

    • Remove the Expiratory Valve Cover (A) and Silicon Membrane (A) (if not already removed).

    • Remove 3 Hex Allen screws (B) M3x8

  10. Hamilton G5 Expiratory Valve Replacement: paso 10, imagen 1 de 1

    • Remove the Expiratory Valve.
