HP ENVY 5530 Power Supply Replacement

    • Open the the printer by lifting the top section. Make sure you're lifting from the lowest portion of the scanner section.

    • Locate 13mm TR10 Torx Security screw behind screen and remove using Torx screwdriver.

    • Remove case covering by lifting it up to reveal the power cord.

    • Locate power cord.

    • Pull it out.

    • Locate 13mm TR10 Torx Security screw behind screen and remove with screwdriver.

    • Use a metal spudger around the edge to remove AC adapter cover.

    • Pull the AC adaptor up and out of its casing

    • Disconnect the wires from the AC adaptor.

    • Replace AC Adapter box. Reverse order of instructions for reassembly.
