Introducción

If keys on your laptop are not registering, you may need to replace your keyboard. This guide will walk you through the steps to complete this replacement.

  1. The computer should be turned off before starting. In addition, the laptop should remain closed throughout the duration of this replacement, unless otherwise noted.   5. Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the four 6 mm screws that were covered by the plastic piece that was just removed.     • This ribbon may be difficult to remove, so be careful in pulling it. You could accidentally break it.

    • When reassembling the computer, make sure to reconnect this ribbon.
