Kay Boyne - Contestar

Hello Kay Boyne,

Sorry for the late reply, but I’m actually putting together a guide on the priming assembly of the Fluval Aquarium filter! This is the part of the unit that’s responsible for starting up your filter.

A quick fix to your issue is to suck the outlet tube till the filter is able to fill itself, but if this sounds less than ideal, it’s recommended to fill the canister of the filter, as well as the intake tube.

If things still aren’t working out, you could try pumping the white knob till the filter fills itself up.

I hope this helped!
