Introducción
The Eton FRX3 uses a single internal, rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery. Unfortunately, this battery may not last forever and will slowly lose it's abbility to hold charge over time. But luckily, swapping it out for a brand new one doesn't even require a screwdriver!

Pull the plastic tab on the battery compartment cover panel to loosen it, then pull the panel off.

is it ok to replace it with a higher capacity lithium battery?
As long as the specifications match, that should be fine. Just be careful when swapping out components in circuits, as it can potentially destroy the device if they're incompatible!
