The comment I listed below is not mine. I copied it from a Mr. Tim Swift who wrote it on 06/28/2015. Had I not have seen his comment, I would have said the exact same thing.
I have only one other thing to say......AWESOME!!

"Thank you to the awesome student who made this tutorial! It worked perfectly and saved me the MAJOR expense of a professional repair. Great job!"
Thanks from a 70 year old non-mechanical female with no torque wrench. I followed this tutorial a few months ago and found that my switch had simply come undone and I reinserted it but couldn't attach orange thing back cause switch kept slipping loose. I taped it up around switch so I wouldn't get electrocuted when turning on. Has worked fine til now, and I suppose my switch has finally failed, so I'm ordering new one. This Dyson was a refurbished one I got fairly cheap (for a Dyson) 12 years ago! SO, THANKS MUCH!!
Brilliant and saved me over £100 which is the cost of a Dyson engineer to attend plus switch. Name a charity.
Very thorough with great images and directions. I saved so much time and money using this tutorial. Thanks for sharing!
Hello, I have replaced my switches and when I tried to put it back together, the brushbar reset arm fell out. I can't figure out how it goes back in! Please help!
