  1. After turning off the computer, use a Torx 5 screwdriver to remove the 10 screws (#2) from the computer's base.

    • Lift the battery off the palm-rest assembly.

  4. Align the screw holes on the New battery with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
    • Align the screw holes on the New battery with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.

    • Replace the screws that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.

    • Connect the battery cable to the system-board.
