1. Remove the eight 6mm back panel screws with your J1 phillips head screw driver bit. Use your screw driver to remove the plastic cover  in the center of the laptop.
    • Remove the eight 6mm back panel screws with your J1 phillips head screw driver bit.

    • Use your screw driver to remove the plastic cover in the center of the laptop.

    • Using a J1 phillips head screw driver bit remove the last 6mm screw.

  3. Use your metal pry tool to pry around the laptop until the two pieces separate. There will be a ribbon cable holding the two pieces together, be careful not to rip it out of it's socket.

  4. Remove the speaker plug from it's socket. Lift the speaker assembly from the case.
