I have the same questions. Do you ever respond to comments? If not, this is a total waste.

I found a replacement on Amazon https://a.co/d/5sxu7bP for my 10 qt crock pot express. To make sure I had the right size gasket/ring, I first place the silicone ring over the edge of my pot where the lid goes. The middle part of the ring should sit perfectly on top of the pot. Mine did. YAY!

It was a very, very tight fit in the lid and since i did not have a plastic tool to help push it under the metal ring that holds it in place, I used the base of a thin table knife to put the presser on the ring as I pressed down on it at the same time. In the same manner the gentleman on the video was doing it to get it in. The gasket must go in so that the center lip sits on the lids inside edge or your lid will not close.

Tough job but it can be done.:)

Thank you for giving me the answer to how to be sure I assemble the seal correctly in the Crock Pot Express after we clean the cooker after I unboxed it. A video should be included with the Crock pot Express , it wwould help a lot. There were no pictures of the underside of the lid. The placement of gasket is very crucial to safety. I used a pressure scanner years ago. Iam impressed with the E6 flashing on the control panel. I do like the cooker overall!

Thank you very much for the advice. Now I can make sure I am placing the gasket in the cooker correctly. I used a pressure scanner/ cooker 30years ago! I like the e6 warning which was on the control panel to let me know that the pressure was not building up. I was able to let the steam off.

This gasket / seal seems very loose and ill fitting. Is this normal?

Hi, having trouble with sealing ring. Keeps falling off. Mine is not silicone but rubber. Does this make a difference?
