Introducción

This guide will walk the user through replacing the power cord in their Conair Curling Wand. The most common problem this device encounters is power cord failure which does not enable the wand to heat up. This guide is moderately easy and the most difficult part is opening up the device.

  1. Remove 2 mm screw with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
    • Remove 2 mm screw with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Make sure curling wand is unplugged and cooled before beginning.

  2. Remove the next 4 mm screw with a Phillips #0 screwdriver. Remove the next 4 mm screw with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
    • Remove the next 4 mm screw with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

  4. Use a flat head screwdriver to assist in   prying open the plastic housing.

  5. Gently open the plastic housing making sure to evenly pull apart the plastic so it does not bend or snap.

  6. Remove the  plastic ring on the bottom of the curling iron by wiggling back and forth and pulling down.

    • Use your flat head screwdriver for assistance if the plastic housing is firmly in place and does not move.

  7. Locate the power cord and remove it by unplugging from the housing.

    • Plug the new cord into the same location.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
