If your Canon Powershot camera (model: S200) battery is dysfunctional or not properly working —such as low charging, no charging, or fast consumption of power— follow the three simple steps in this guide for removing the battery from your camera.
The battery is a lithium-ion battery with a typical warranty of up to a year of use before you can see signs of energy depletion in charging. If you notice that your charged battery is draining more quickly than usual, consider using a tool to measure the battery's charging capacity.
