Introducción

This guide will show you how to replace the keyboard of the BlackBerry 8820. In order to do so, you must have a 1/16" diameter torx screwdriver and a plastic opening tool.

  5. Use a nylon spudger to carefully pry the back casing off.

      • There are two small clamps on each edge that need to be unhooked before the casing will come off.

  6. Pry off the front casing.
    • Pry off the front casing.

      • Be aware of sensors and other sensitive areas of the newly exposed electronics.

  7. Slide the keyboard downwards, as shown.

    • The keyboard will detach from the casing with a small amount of pressure.
