Introducción

The Blu Life XL can have issues with the speaker. Follow this guide to replace the speaker and enjoy crystal clear audio.

  1. Turn the device off by holding down the power button for up to 5 seconds and then tapping the "Power off" button on the screen. Remove the rear cover using your hands at the lip on the device back cover. No tools required. Remove the battery by lifting the lower edge of the battery up first.

  2. Remove twelve 2.1mm Phillips head screws from the rear plate using the Phillips#000 Screwdriver Remove twelve 2.1mm Phillips head screws from the rear plate using the Phillips#000 Screwdriver

  4. Use a prying tool to separate the rear plate from the phone. Firmly press the prying tool into the gap between the front glass and rear plate.  This gap is located on all sides of the phone.

    • If the prying tool is not working try using your fingernails on the side of the phone. Once a small area of the rear plate is released continue to use the prying tool.

    • Run the prying tool around the entire phone separating the rear plate from the frame.

  5. Gently flip the tan cable lock back to release the ribbon cable from the lower PCB Board. Using a plastic or metal spudger gently pull the ribbon cable from its socket. Remove the 3mm screw from the PCB Board using Phillips#000 Screwdriver.

  6. Locate the speaker and connected haptic motor (The circular object on the left) on the lower PCB board of the phone. Using a prying tool lightly pry around all edges of the PCB Board until it releases from the adhesive backing. Use the same process as above to remove the Haptic motor.  It has the black and red wire connected to it and the PCB Board

    • Use the same process as above to remove the Haptic motor. It has the black and red wire connected to it and the PCB Board
