Preguntas 586 Ver todo

Rapidly flashing sleeping light, won't turn on.

Brand-new MacBook Pro (less than one month). It was working fine this morning. I put it to sleep with 10% charge. Now it won't turn on, and the sleep light is flashing. When I plug the charger in, it does not turn to orange - the charger stays green. When I push the battery indicator, it blinks rapidly like its out of battery, but does not indicate charging.

Apple MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.2 15" Early 2011 Specs

Identifiers: Early 2011 15" - MC723LL/A - MacBookPro8,2 - A1286 - 2353-1*

If you were adding RAM check it for type and installation. If you've done nothing contact Apple for warranty work.

Apple's website has a lot of solutions. But for this particular issue,You will either need to reseat your battery, clean out the magsafe power connector on your computer, or you will need to reset your PRAM. To do this, Shut down the computer.

Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R.

You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.

Turn on the computer.

Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.

Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.

Release the keys.

remove the battery then try turning it on connected to the power supply. this is what i do with the school's public laptops when it goes into standby but the light freezes because of the cheap improperly installed ram and wifi/bluetooth devices.

none of these have worked for me sadly. I’ve reset the PRAM, disconnected the battery, SSD and RAM and reconnected all again correctly. magsafe seems stuck on orange charging light, but the laptop doesn’t seem to be taking any of the charge.

The battery indicator light on the side is flashing (one light, not all five!) quickly, more than 10 times.

Anyone got any other thoughts?

With the MagSafe stuck on orange I have found plugging/half plugging repeatedly had worked. Not sure what it is on mine cuz the MagSafe is clean and so is the computer input. Could be a faulty connection.
