Hi I am really confused on my TV’s problem it’s a LG 55 inch cinema 3D picture (model number 55LM4600) I was watching Netflix on my fire stick and then the screen fadded grey and is now a dark grey screen and the sound works on it. The grey screen makes me think the light in the TV is still good but there is no picture at all.

@naalii that sounds like a main board issue. You need to try all different inputs and see if that changes anything. You also want to check if your on-screen menu still shows. Let us know what you get with that. Ultimately you need to take a look at the boards on the inside of your TV. Unplug it, remove the back and take a look. See if you can identify some obvious damage like leaking or domed looking capacitors etc. Take some pictures of your boards and post those with your question so we can see what you see. Hi I do not see the on screen menus on the tv and when I flip through the channels I can hear it change but I don’t seen any of a change in the picture. I will be taking the TV apart tonight and will update you with any of my findings and I will also update with pictures of it when I open the TV up.
Any update on it please?
i had this problem but the solution is very easy, use your remote control, go to settings. then go to set to factory settings. that is it.

Seems easy but the TV screen has gone grey and can't see anything on it, so how I would know to go to settings, select factory settings??
Had the grey screen. I couldn't get to main menu. I unplugged TV and fire stick, waited a few seconds, replugged them. From there fire stick reloaded and walked me through re- pairing my remote. Whew!
Just change your HDMI settings. I accidently changed my tv input via my remote to another HDMI outlet…3 unstead of 1……that did it for me.

Just change your tv input settings. I accidently xhanged my input via my remote from hdmi1 to hdmi 3. Change it back to the proper tv input or HDMI and your picture will reappear.

Mine too..I can't see a thing. I click something to update the TV and it was on for a second then the screen went gray. I can hear the tv. I can get to the internet but I can't see any picture. Everything is gray. None of the settings is displayed neither. I've turned this TV off several times and wait it. Nothing seems to be working
I have the same issue …
Did an update , screen went gray after . Nothing to do to fix it . Unplugged , hit the input button . Could not access to the settings since the screen is still gray . How to do a Hardware reset ? Thks
@jimmystjean there is no hardware reset that you can do, if you do not see the menu. What model is you LG TV? what have you tried? what have you checked? Makre sure that whatever you check, you do not use a Firestick etc. while testing it.

tv screen is gray butoons wont work on remote except for the power button tried turning it off and on wont work
