Camera lens and shutter won't open, dropped on front rim. What to do?
Camera was dropped from about 2 ft. on the rim around the lens. Now it will not power on and move the lens.

Does it not power on at all? Or does it try, and turn back off when it fails to initialize the lens?
You can buy a new lens assembly from Ebay.

Follow the teardown guide to replace the lens or check the internals for other unseen damage.
