For anyone having similar issues, i had something that looked a lot like this where the colours were very off on one side (almost like it was on super high contrast where most things were much darker but some of the other colours were more stronger) and looking closely to the side which was working, it still had a "fuzz" on some of the lines as if the fault was bleeding from the bad side to the other...
in my case, after taking the back panel off, flipping it around and then taking the frame off from teh screen, i could tell that there was a chip in the glass on one of the corners which had disconnected one of the signals to the side of the tv (technically disconnected the signal to the "cof").
I tried alot of different things to reconnect it, including scratching off the test point on the cof and checking voltages etc....
in the end, i ripped off the cofs on the bad side (theres a special way to do this where you use the hair dryer to peal it off.... this was very extreme, if i could have gotten the datasheet for the cofs then wouldnt need to rip it. Also, this method relies on the fact that the other side cofs are perfectly working (this isnt always the case as the left and rigth side kidn of hides each others flaws.....)....
in my case it worked, but then i had done another crack on the top left side in the process.... this caused other issues where the screen then looked like the netflix intro screen (its like the top row of the picture had extended all the way down, hiding parts of the propper picture and washing it out, very artistic....)
after this issue, i was able to rig up a 9v battery and a diode, connected ground to the metal frame, and the positive (after the diode) to the etst points on the cof. One of the etst points had measured -5v which didnt look right (the vgl should be -7v and that was there on the other test points, -5v isnt a signal) so connected the positive to that and the picture fixed itself perfectly (and was working completely across the whole screen)..... so..... long story short, i reapplied the lgh signal from the address/buffer board to the cof (they call it a cof bypass) and now the tv works perfectly with the exception of the bad "line" associated to the crack i accidently caused myself... can only blame myself....
