Found this information on the RCA 10 Viking Pro Repair page at ifixit.com in the User Manual.pdf on Page 30:
-Tablet is frozen or a serious error appears-
If the tablet is frozen or suspended, you may need to close the app program or reset the tablet.
If the tablet is frozen or slow to respond, press and hold the power button for 8 seconds to reset the tablet. (This is what fixed the problem on my RCA Voyager Pro, and I had to sit through about a minute or two of waiting for it to start up, again, but the Slide Up unlock feature finally started to work after doing so)
If that doesn't work, press the RESET button at the back of the tablet; then press and hold the Power button for 4-5 seconds to turn on the unit.

I did all the above and it won't let me slide up to unlock it.
Me too, and I don't see a reset button on the back. It let's me enter my code during the reboot, but when it goes to its background screen it still won't let me slide to unlock it back to my unlock code screen. And it's only two days old. :(
Mine is doing the same
Turn it straight up then try
I learnt a lesson , avoid RCA , thanks for all the ideas but all attempts have failed

Bingo! I justg figured it out. You have to have the tablet in portrait mode! Swiping won't work if the tablet is in the horizontal or landscape orientation. Hopefully this is a bug they're going to fix! It's annoying....

Basically, you want to reset your tablet so, with your tablet off, press and hold the volume up button and the power button at the same time until the RCA logo comes onto your screen then let go, next, use the volume down button to select the wipe date/factory reset, then let it finish, lastly, select “reboot system now”

I have a green box that is popping up on my tablet around where I swipe to open it and I can’t get into the Lenovo tablet. HELP
I've done this, it's asking for the previous owners email. Won't reset new email account.
My RCA tablet will not let me swipe up and when i push the power button it's on screenshot and i can't power it off
