Replacement Feet for MacBook Pro, Early 2103

Does anyone know where I can find replacement feet for the Early 2013 and beyond MacBook Pros? There are a pleather of feet for the earlier models, but I am having a difficult time finding these feet.

I don’t think feet on eBay that generally claim compatibility with A1398 Macs will necessarily work. I ordered some for my mid-2012 Retina MacBook Pro, and they do not fit. The aftermarket feet have a protrusion in the center, whereas the OEM feet have a dimple. My guess is Apple changed the design in the transition from the MacBookPro10,1 line (mid 2012 & early 2013) to the MacBookPro11,2 line (late 2013). (See https://everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup... for a list of specs.) Unfortunately I haven’t found any aftermarket feet on eBay that specifically claim or show compatibility with mid 2012 or early 2013 Macs.

Here's an Apple T/N on it: MacBook Pro: Bottom case foot replacement DIY instructions.

Thanks Dan. However, I am looking for the actual feet, not the instructions for replacement.

It's in there ;-} You can give Apple a call and ask for the foot kit.

The OP inquired about the Retina MacBook pro. The Apple article you linked to explicitly states that no DIY kit is available for the Retina models, and so there's also a good chance the illustrated instructions won't apply either.

You can just search for them on eBay or amazon, the easiest way to attach them is to just use super glue making sure you don't get any inside the holes on the bottom case.

Thanks Bradly. However, these items are all for the non Retina version.

1) Those are for the non-Retina models

2) eBay is full of low quality, counterfeit products.

Rather than replace the feet, I replaced the bottom case. It cost about $25 for a lightly used one on eBay (“Grade A-”). Replacing the bottom case may seem extreme when you just want feet, but it does seem like the way the part is manufactured the feet connect from the inside to the outside, so it’s actually not crazy. I had gone to the Genius Bar for this (where I learned their approach to missing feet is to replace the whole bottom case), but they quoted $180 total ($101 for the part, $79 for labor). Too much for me.

I believe the exact Apple part number you want for 2012 and early 2013 Retina MacBook Pros is 604-3590-A. This fits my 2012 rMBP anyway, and listings for it say it fits early 2013 too.
