iPhone is disabled after a screen replacement
Hey
My friend asked me for repair his broken iphone 5 and it was realy messed up: he tryed to open the display but he cutted the sensor/front cam cable. We changed the display but not the sensor/front cam cable because we still need to order it, we choosed to ignore it and replace only the display so he can use it while we wait for the cable but when we powered the phone we got "iphone disabled" so now i would like to know if we have to fix the sensor/cam cable or there is something else causing the problem
Thank you!
Sorry for my bad english!

It's my understanding that the camera plays a role in determining whether or not the phone is up to your face. With a cut front camera Cable, The iPhone thinks you have it pressed against your cheek, and it Blackens the lcd
If the cable is connected, disconnected from the logic board. If the cable is disconnected, connected to the logic board. See what happens
