Remove the hard drive and power on, see if it boots then.

If that doesn't help try interchanging the RAM between slots to see if one of the sticks are bad.

I know this question is 4 years old now, but I'm posting this because I just had this same problem on a customer's computer and I was able to fix it. Hopefully this helps someone else to ended up here after a Google search.

  1. If on, power off the laptop and turn over. Remove bottom screws.
  2. Separate palm rest from bottom panel being careful not to jerk the 3 flex cables out in the process. These flex cables are for the touchpad, keyboard, and the power button. Remove the palm rest.
  3. Remove the battery from the laptop.
  4. Remove the screws holding the hard drive in and remove the hard drive.
  5. Disconnect the black and white Wi-Fi antenna cables from the Wi-Fi card.
  6. Disconnect the CPU fan.
  7. Disconnect the LVDS cable.
  8. Remove the motherboard screws and lift the motherboard out of the laptop.
  9. Turn the motherboard over and remove the CR2032 battery.
  10. Remove the single SODIMM RAM module.
  11. Place CR2032 battery back in and loosely reconnect the motherboard to the laptop, not bothering with screws.
  12. Insert battery.
  13. Insert power adapter.
  14. Attempt to power on without the RAM installed.
  15. Turn computer off and disassemble back to where you can reinsert the RAM module.
  16. Reassemble as normal.

The laptop should now boot up to the BIOS/CMOS Setup screen. Load Default Values and Save & Exit.

You can follow this link to download the latest BIOS firmware file. You will need to extract this file and place the extracted firmware file on a USB flash drive. Insert the USB flash drive into the laptop and boot to BIOS/CMOS Setup. On the Advanced page, enter Start Easy Flash and use this utility to flash the file you placed on your USB drive.

The computer should behave normally now. Hope this helps someone.
