WIFI/Bluetooth/iSight "hardware not installed"

I recently upgraded my super drive to an ssd using a caddy and am now left with no wifi/camera/bluetooth. I am convinced that it is a problem with the cable as a tiny small black piece broke off. I cannot seem to find a clear explanation on how to fix this problem.

The following links are people with similar unresolved issues.

Wifi problem after SSD change - "no hardware installed"

No Wifi, Bluetooth or Camera

A guide for the replacement of the mid 2010 macbook pro wifi/bluetooth/Isight cable would be ideal as it would clearly show how the cable should be in place. Also it would clearly explain the purpose of the small adhesive black square piece that everyone is accidentally detaching from their macbooks.

Do i simply need to replace the cable or the little plastic piece that broke off it is the root of the problem?

please help me fix this

The little black piece was the latch of the logic board connector the ribbon cable fits into.

Sadly the connecter is broken on the logic board, replacing the cable won't change anything here.

I would recommend bringing in your system to someone who has the skills to do the fine SMT soldering that will be required to replace the connector. Your other option here is to buy a replacement logic board. Sorry ;-{

Hey, thanks for your answer.

Do any of you guys have a picture of the latch of the logic board?

I'm not sure if I broke while replacing the backlit of the keyboard or if I should try and buy a new iSight cable...

The cable looks fine, but the connection seems a bit loose, don't know why...

Thanks a lot.
